A home for your webcomic that stays put.

Your own comic site with a proper reader, your own web address and your own list of readers. And an export button, so you can take everything with you whenever you like.

Where will your comic live in April?

If your comic's home is closing at the end of March, you don't have to start from zero. Founding creators get their archive moved for them from their own files, free.

Early 2027

SteadInk is being built now and opens to the first creators before the end of March.

Your own site

Page-by-page and scroll reading, chapters, archive and a schedule for new pages. On your own domain if you want one.

Your readers

Readers subscribe by email and get your new pages. The list belongs to you, not to us.

Leave any time

One button exports every page, chapter, note and subscriber. No exclusivity, no lock-in.

Your rights stay yours

You keep every right. We only use your work to show it where you choose.

AI crawlers blocked

Known AI-training crawlers are blocked on every SteadInk site by default.

Free to start

A free plan, with small paid extras like your own domain. Your answers below help us set fair prices.

What your site could look like

An example site for an invented comic. Your design, colours and fonts are your choice.

The same comic in scroll mode on a phone.

Send your page files

The original files from your drawing app, in a folder or ZIP. Messy file names are fine: you'll confirm the order before anything goes live.

Check your new site

We sort pages into chapters and build the site. Nothing goes live until you say so.

Tell your readers

You get a ready-made "we moved" image and link to post on your old page and socials.

Founding creators

50 places

  • The Creator plan free for your first 12 months
  • Your archive moved for you, from your own files
  • A vote on what we build next
  • Your name on the founding creators page, if you want it there

Tick "Become a founding creator" in the form and we'll be in touch personally.

Who's building this

Hi, I'm Panagiotis Zachariadis, an independent architect living on the island of Lesvos in Greece. My job is designing homes, so I know what a good one gives you: a place that's yours, that you can shape as you like, and that nobody can take away.

Creators deserve the same for their work. When a big comics platform announced it was closing, thousands of them were about to lose theirs overnight. I'm building SteadInk so that can't happen to your comic again: your site, your readers and your files stay yours. If you have questions, write to hello@steadink.com. I answer every message myself.

Questions

Is SteadInk live yet?

Not yet. We're building it now and plan to open to the first creators in early 2027, before the end of March.

What if SteadInk itself closes one day?

You can export everything at any time, and your own domain stays yours. If we ever had to close, every creator would get at least 90 days' notice and a full export, so your comic and readers are never stuck with us.

How much will it cost?

There will be a free plan. Paid plans add things like your own domain and larger reader lists. Prices aren't final; the form asks what feels fair to you.

Can I keep posting my comic on other sites too?

Yes. Nothing on SteadInk is exclusive. Post your comic wherever else you like.

Does it work for vertical-scroll comics?

Yes. Vertical comics scroll smoothly from top to bottom. Comics made of pages can be read page by page or as one long scroll.

Can I use my own domain later?

Yes. Start on a free yourname.steadink.com address and connect your own domain whenever you're ready. Your readers' links keep working.

Do you claim any rights over my comic?

No. You keep all rights. We only use your work to show it where you choose: on your site and anywhere you decide to share it.
