Who's building this
Hi, I'm Panagiotis Zachariadis, an independent architect living on the island of Lesvos in Greece. My job is designing homes, so I know what a good one gives you: a place that's yours, that you can shape as you like, and that nobody can take away.
Creators deserve the same for their work. When a big comics platform announced it was closing, thousands of them were about to lose theirs overnight. I'm building SteadInk so that can't happen to your comic again: your site, your readers and your files stay yours. If you have questions, write to hello@steadink.com. I answer every message myself.
Questions
Is SteadInk live yet?
Not yet. We're building it now and plan to open to the first creators in early 2027, before the end of March.
What if SteadInk itself closes one day?
You can export everything at any time, including your readers' emails. If we ever had to close, every creator would get at least 90 days' notice and a full export, so your comic and readers are never stuck with us.
How much will it cost?
One plan at one small monthly price, with 30 days free to try. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Founding creators get their first year free. The price isn't final yet: the form asks what feels fair to you.
Can I keep posting my comic on other sites too?
Yes. Nothing on SteadInk is exclusive. Post your comic wherever else you like.
Will new readers find my comic on SteadInk?
SteadInk is your home base, not a big reading app with its own crowd. Many creators will keep posting on other platforms too and send readers to their SteadInk site, where they can subscribe by email and stay with you.
Does it work for vertical-scroll comics?
Yes. Vertical comics scroll smoothly from top to bottom. Comics made of pages can be read page by page or as one long scroll.
Can I change how my site looks?
Yes. Pick one of five layouts made for comics: classic pages, vertical scroll, graphic novel, daily strip, or a shelf for several comics. Then choose your colours, fonts, logo and arrows. You can switch layout any time without uploading again.
Do you claim any rights over my comic?
No. You keep all rights. We only use your work to show it where you choose: on your site and anywhere you decide to share it.
